The Guides was born from a vivid experience during meditation. During that moment, a group of figures appeared in my inner vision with unusual clarity, carrying a presence that felt both mysterious and deeply familiar. I felt compelled to preserve the experience through painting.
Rather than attempting to define who or what these figures are, the work explores the experience of guidance itself—the moments in which images, symbols, or intuitions emerge from somewhere beyond our ordinary conscious awareness.
The painting reflects on meditation, inner perception, archetypal imagery, and the possibility that guidance can appear through the symbolic language of the psyche.
