Cristóbal’s work focuses on the performative, exploring the idea of how the artist’s body engages with the act of creating art. In this context, he has developed a body of work spanning textiles, performance, painting, and other mediums. He has been invited to participate in various performance art festivals across Europe and South America, as well as exhibitions with galleries such as Galería Espora (Chile) and Mahara&Co (United States), among others.

Notable works and projects include Serie Árbol, a durational performance developed at MAVI (Museum of Visual Arts) in collaboration with Galería Callejera (2019); the performance 10800 at MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art) in 2015; and Proyecto Duraccional, a performance art collective active from 2016 to 2023.

Lanzarini also explores the relationship between the artist and the blank space, intervening with various tools, unused sketchbooks, and artists’ notebooks. One example is Serie Cráteres, exhibited at Sala Concreta at Matucana 100 in January 2013.

Cristóbal currently works in his studio in Santiago, Chile, preparing for his upcoming exhibitions.
